Hi,

Im current running aftermarket 3-4-5 gears with a 4.2 final drive on 225/45/16 tires.

According to the gear caltulator, I should be doing 111km/h at 4000rpm, however my speedo reads 100km/h at 4000rpm.

Im about to change to 245/40/17 tires and at 4000rpm, my speed should be 115km/h and my speedo will be reading 100km/h.

Is there anything I can do to adjust the speedo readings?

 

google speedo healer. (lots of sport bike guys use them)

 

I just use my GPS real time and it's digital.

 

I sent them an email.

They want to know where the speed sensor is mounted and they wanna know if its a 2 wire or 3 wire sensor.

Can anyone help?

 

Speed sensor is in the top of the trans near the back and it's 3 wire
