93 Civic CEL 'ELD Code 20'
1993 rhd Civic cx
Break down on the car to get an idea; Has a high comp LsV(jdm rhd engine harness from a b16a), still has the Lhd usdm dash harness, battery is relocated to trunk. Running a virgin p28 ecu(not the greatest idea but whatever)
Ive had the car for about a month. Started up fine, drove fine every day, no CEL's, ect. One day 2 weeks ago, the car threw a CEL and the idle shot up to 1300rpm and stayed, bogged down/sputtered while driving. turned it off, did it again..and would randomly do it off and on but atleast once a drive. Well i checked my grounds, wiring ect, and i looked in the hatch at the battery and noticed the battery was swollen and leaking. Drove the car and didnt do it for 4 days straight. I took the battery out for saftey purposes and swapped it with a used one off a friend and swapped my alternator with a used one off another friend. Long story short, after driving for a few minutes it did it again..
ive tried a chipped p72, tried reseting the ECU, put a new batt/alt in, ect. all my grounds are there.
Why am i still throwing this code 20?? Ive read its the fuse box that can go bad, or too much volt/too little, a bad ground, ect..
