Default CEL and Battery Light

Hi all,

New to Honda-tech.com so I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong forum.

I have a 2008 Honda Civic SI Coupe and I have CEL and my battery light will flash while I'm driving and eventually stay on.
I had a shop test my battery, starter and charging system and everything came out good but my CEL was a P16BB code. (Not sure if they tested while battery light was on)

116-1(P16BB)
Alternator B terminal circuit low voltage

Possible failures:
1. B terminal disconnected
2. Fuse for B terminal in the box
3. ECM/PCM internal failure

I've been doing some research but couldn't really find anyone who had a P16BB code issue but I did find some people who had battery lights flash while driving.
Some said a new alternator fixed the problem and some said the problem still exists even with a new alternator.

I have some experience with cars but this is outside of my knowledge and I'm trying to minimize spending unnecessary $$.

Thanks everyone!
