So i was driving the other day when i noticed that i would lose acceleration ever so often. It reminded me more of a sputtering. I would lose acceleration but not power. This only happens when im in 3rd gear. I put a system cleaner in my gas tank and it helped alittle but i can tell it will just come back within a couple days.

 

Any CEL? Try to be a little more specific... Is it sputtering under acceleration, or while at speed? How do you lose acceleration but not power?

 

no CEL and i lose acceleration at speed not coasting. and my power stays on it just feels like it hiccups when I'm pushing on the gas pedal.

 

Whens the last time a basic tune-up was done?

 

I had the fuel filter, fuel pump, spark plugs, and alternator all changed within the last 500 miles
