So I'm having trouble getting my idle target base table to do what I want.
If at 200 degrees ecT (OPERATING TEMP) Basicly on cold starts the motor idles at 1000 rpm's not 1500 rpm's what my idle target is set too.
If I move the idle target base up or down the motor doesn't respond. It idles off the iacv frequency. If I move the pw duty higher the motor revs up. But not when I adjust the idle target base table. Any suggestions?
I have recalibrated my tps. Set my throttle plate stop, and tried moving the table values all the way up to 3000 rpm and nothing changes.
Now that I think of it, My throttle plate would stick so I adjusted it a tad bit open, prior to that the idle target value would respond correctly.

Okay the table you want to adjust is the Idle% vs target table.
1. Options Idle - Idle FB Below RPM - Set this to something high like 2000 so it will try to adjust your idle for anything below this.
2. Options Idle - Idle FB Above RPM - Set this to something low like 400 so that it will try to adjust your idle for anything above this.
3. Set your Idle Target base to 1000 RPM
4. Adjust your Idle% vs Target table to get your 1000 RPM. Keep an eye on the Idle Learned Value you want this to be a negative number close to 0 or at 0.
5. Change your target base to 1200 and adjust the Idle% table again. Do this for a whole range of RPM numbers so you can build a nice curve in the Idle % than it should act as normal.

I adjusted the pw to 90% and got my idle to respond.
I set my idle to 3000rpm adjusted the tables till it stood exactly at 3k, then back Down to 1000rpm and did the same, interpolated the values and it idled great.
BUT on the way to work this morning the rpms wouldn't drop when coasting in neutral. RPM's would hang around 2200rpm and when I get to a stop they would drop back down to 1200 intermittently.
(Sometimes the idle will hang at 2200rpm)
I'm going to mess with the tables again but since its intermittent I don't think its the table values. More like a vss setting.

Can you do another screen shot of your idle calibration tab. Make sure I can see all the options and maps please. Some are cut off on your picture. Thanks.

Okay on the way home I adjusted the idle%table where my idle was hanging at, I got it to drop to where it supposed to be. So that's all cleared up and the idle is fixed thanks rtype16!
