The head should work just fine, what year is your h22? reguardless of jdm or usdm if it 97+ they are all open deck. Only 96 and down obd1 H22's were closed deck. Just make sure to get approprait head gasket for your block.

usdm or jdm doesnt make a difference. the year does.

92-96 blocks (p13 stamped) will be closed deck and require a headgasket made for a closed deck block.
97+ have open decks and require the appropriate gasket.

the head does not matter as they are all the same mating surface.

So you have a 99 block?

Can you please be more clear?

Saying the parts are for a 99 doesn't tell us anything.

If that was not clear then I do not know what you were asking...:-/

Type clearly and communicate your message better and you will get better results, if not then you bring the drama onto yourself.
