Was tightening my fast idle valve down all the way the reason it won't run??.
I just got done cleaning the throttle body, idle air control valve, and tightening down the fast idle valve all the way down on my 1994 honda accord with the 2.2 motor.
Now when I try to start it the car immediately dies. It ran great before, it just had a tiny miss like issue which I was told cleaning those items could help with.
Is the fast idle not supposed to be tightened all the way back down ??.
I'm really stumped. Please help if you can

did you adjust the fitv when the engine was warm. below ~100F it should be slightly open.
do you remember how many turns it went in?

back it off 1.5 - 2.5 turns and try to start it. if it idles higher than normal or starts to surge when warmed up - turn off engine and crank it down a half, quarter turn or less at a time until the engine starts and cold idles normally - with no surging after warm up.
resetting pcm/allowing car to re-learn idle may be necessary
if car later refuses to start on a cold morning - readjust fitv farther out - using same method - shouldn't be difficult to find a sweet spot.

I actually pulled the ECU fuse like i heard you could try and it started right up. But it's still got the tiny miss type issue.
It's got new plugs, wires, and distributor. Could it be the cap or rotor?
I know the sensors are right because the one isn't long enough to reach the other spot.
After I finished I could hear a slight whistling which gets louder the faster I go. I heard that could be a vacuum leak. I will check into that.
Okay. It's doing another thing that just started today. It's only happened a few times but when I am going slow or completely stopped the idle drops like its going to die and then it goes back to normal. Anyone know what that could be?.
sounds like you got a wire partially broke somewhere
this would be a good time to turn the ignition on and test all your sensors signal wires while "gently" wiggling your harness
