Default How to use F23A Dizzy on F22B1 Wiring harness?

I recently swapped a JDM F23A into my '96 accord which had an F22B1. https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...ap+timing+f23a

Everything went well except that the timing is off by maybe 8-10 degrees. I'm using the F22B1 dizzy now and it doesn't allow for much adjustment. When I take the bolts out of the dizzy and rotate it a lot the timing marks on the crank pulley don't seem to move much at alll but the sound of the engine changes. If I rotate it enough it will kill the engine but the marks don't move...what's up with this?

I compared the two distributors side by side and it looks like there is a slight difference in where the rotors line up when the cam tooth is in the exact same position.

The two dizzys have different plugs. The F23A also has 4 wires while the F22B1 has 5 wires. Anyone know how I can use the F23A dizzy?

I've struggled with this for a while and even broke down and took it into a shop. They verified that I installed the timing belt correctly and that was about as far as they got.

Looks like several people have done this swap, anyone checked the timing afterwards?

Has anyone checked their timing after doing this swap?
