I have a 00' SI with a built motor and a vortech suprcharger, recently I had some problems with it. The shaft went bad and all the splines in it stripped out, I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so could you lease tell me what was the cause or what not to do for it to happen again. thanks

 

most likely the shaft was off center and gradually stripped
