Default B18c5 head w/ b20b4 block compression ratio?

Hey guys I'm new to this site and I was wondering if I could get some more info about my car. I have a 93 civic with a b18c5 head and b20b4 block with the jdm s80 tranny. I was wondering what the compression ratio may be and what kind of power I would be making. I want to boost it and I want to leave stock internals in and run low boost (4-7psi). I may not boost it it the compression ratio is too high (obviously). It also has a b16 ecu and is chipped to make the b20 block run vtec. I want to put a b18 ecu in it but would it make a difference? Also I was thinking of also putting bigger injectors but I'm not sure what to look for...as much info and help would much appreciated thanks!

First, you posted in the wrong category of forums as it clearly states "Introduce Yourself" not ask about what your compression is. Secondly, it sounds like you are running b20vtec and I highly doubt your b16 ecu is the correct ecu for running b20vtec along with the correct map for that build. My rough guess is that you are sitting any where between 9-10 compression but thats just taking a wild guess.

Thank you for the reply, and sorry about posting it in the wrong section. I'm really new forums and stuff. So what your saying is I should look into finding a b18 vtec ecu and get it tuned properly. Should I also get a b18 vtec map?

OP, read EVERYTHING in the hybrid and turbo forums, especially the stickies, before you do a damn thing.

It will yield about 9.16:1 CR. The ecu does not matter as long as: A) it has the components for vtec & a chip, B) the chip is actually a TUNE, not a BASEMAP. A basemap on a Honda is like grabbing 4 random pistons from your parts bin and hope they work. Chances are your "chip" will cause bad detonation & crack your pistons' ringlands with any amount of boost, assuming the siamesed b20 sleeves don't go first. If you get a decent street tune, both ringlands and sleeves will take the power w/o issues.

If you want an idea on what injector to run, check my signature & shoot me a PM.
