will 90 crx doors fit an 88 model? i have been told yes and no.
gOODlUck!
Did any of you guys notice a material weight difference between the 88 doors and the 90-91 doors? There is definately some weight difference due to the seat belts, but there was also this controversy about weather the 88 has impact beam. Supposedly these beams wieght something stupid like 30lbs each!
For the record. All 88's and HF89's are seat belt free. 89DX and SI and all 90-91's have seat belts in the doors. This USDM only. I believe in Canada, all years/models had the 88 style seatbelts.

I swapped the doors on my 89 Si, used the doors with seat belts in them...damn those buggers were HEAVY!!! took some time to make them fit just right...but it was worth it...no more rust!!!
I took a look at the doors that i was going to put on. I am in canada an you were right ALL THE SAME STYLE!!!! No seatbelts in the doors. I was always wondering what the heck you guys were talking about and why i had never seen any like that. booya.
I don't understand why they make these kinds of small differences between the 2 countries. You would that that it just costs them more money. You guys get HF's we get no seatbelts on the doors. Fair...i think not.

But your HF model has very low front bumper crash ratings. As where here in Canada we didn't even get the HF simply because of that fact. Aahhh who cares. Let's all sit back and enjoy the EF chassis that the lord has blessed us with.
yeah, but canada never got the door mounted seatbelts, and they have DRL's which im getting to save on my insurance...
just a little relay behind the centerconsole...

hehehe that's funny, I always pull my DRL fuse as soon as a buy a car. I hate having my lights on all the time, I want control.
