Default Da integra biggest tire I can run??

I completely new to the fwd and Honda scene, I've always had 240's, rx7's and a evo 8. I'm use to running 235+ tires at minimum and this little tire thing is killing me here haha, I have a set off xxr 535 16x8 in my garage waiting for tires. My question is would it be possible or even needed to run a 245/45/16 tire all around? I have skunk2 camber arms up front and skunk2 rear camber arms as well as Gsp lower control arms.

I can get very nice deals on toyo tires so I would be getting the proxes R888.

I like to road race a whole hell of a lot more than drag race that's why I need some meat on my rims! I'm also about to finish my turbo setup next weeked and need some sticky tires haha

Without running flares, you're not going to fit much wider then a 225. 15's would be better suited for the car, allowing for better tire sizing and better tire options. You're also not going to want much wider then a 225, unless you have some sort of splitter producing downforce up front... because the car is going to float due to having too wide of tire for its weight.

Narrow tires are appropriate for a lightweight car. They also improve steering feel.

If you're serious about road racing, 215 and 225 seem to be the most common sizes, although I believe many people use narrower tires on the street.

I'll probably get a set of 15's as well then, it never hurts to have a selection of rims around. I'll see how I like the 16's with a 225 setup all around and then see how I like the 15's, thanks for very useful input!! All the threads I ever see here and even in the Nissan and evo forums are guys asking whats the smallest tire they can stretch on x10.5 I'm always

I'll probably go with a 225 setup all around! I'm at full street weight so I'm not too light, I weighed the car at a station and It was 2500. Only thing I don't have in the car is the spare tire,a/c compressor and tool kit.
