Default Cutting lca bolts with rotary tool.

Hey guys,

This might be in the wrong section but it's as close to a cutting topic as I could get.

I have a Craftsman rotary tool. Single speed 28,000 rpms. The welded nut on my LCA to trailing arm is frozen with the bolt. I already got it half cut with my sawzall. My rotary tool seems to have collets that are 1/8 " which I think the Dremel mandrel shank is too.

Question is. I saw Dremel brand have a EZ lock mandrel/metal cut off wheels that cut bolts easy from Sears. Can other brands mandrels/cut off wheels be used with other brand tools?

Cheap and durable and you can use it for lots of other things. the wheels are cheaper than those tiny dremel wheels.

What you invest is what you gain!!!

I have one of those and tried it. Won't fit in the space bro. The nut is the one next to the wheel facing the front of the car. It's a very tight space.

Make sure you get the fiberglass reinforced ones, the regular ones they have will break verrry quickly. And yea, you'll go through a couple.
