Default 1994 Honda Civic DX Power Window

Hi,

I have a 1994 Honda Civic DX. The drivers' side window rolls down very slowly and will only roll down halfway. All the other windows work great.
Does this mean it needs a new motor or regulator?

I'm assuming you did a factory conversion using old regulators/motors rom a LX/EX. If the glass is moving slowly, it's them. Replace them and problem solved.

Try silicon lube in the window tracks. My windows did the same thing for years. I tried it and it works.

Sorry- I hadn't been sure which package it was- it's actually an LX, so the motor/regulator is stock.
I'll look around for some guides on how to replace them, but if anyone knows of any good ones I'd be happy to check them out.
Thanks for the replies!

I have a 94 coupe and the right side window wouldn't go all the way up without someone helping it up. The left window went down fine but was slow going up. I took a silicone lubricant spray and sprayed down the tracks with the included straw while the windows were all the way down. Both windows now go up and down normally. I would try that first before replacing the motors.

4th on sili spray ... recommended to me by a glass shop when I asked about slow-moving windows.
