schrader valve stuck in spark plug well ! need help.
I'm really stuck on this one the valve part is round on the outside so I can't use any sort of socket the hose part let go. here's the pics.
yup, it's from a compression tester. this is a real problem nothing on here about someone messing up a comp test to the degree
that being said the tester was 21$

Take the core out and take a drill bit to it from the cylinder side. When the bit catches, it might spin it out.
I hope you didn't have to take the head off for that. I get them out with pliers like these. I've even had it happen with a new Mac compression tester, so don't beat yourself up for buying a cheap one.

It's probably just stuck on the o-ring. Spray some silicone down the plug tower and twist that sucker. Don't use a huge drill bit, just big enough to get a good bite. You have plenty of metal to work with there.
It is in there tighter than I probably should have made it, but I've done this many times before(same tester). the engine was hot when I was doing this of course I pured oil down the tube no joy I finally ripped off the hose off to see if it had a socket bottom. will try plyers and reconnecting the hose.

Well, I guess I would drill out the schrader valve and then tap the resulting hole for a 10mm bolt. Thread the bolt in and start tightening it with a socket. That will back the entire thing out the top of the head as if you were removing it from the top side.
On second thought, a 10mm is probably to big...
I guess try to drill it out and hope the drill bit catches and rotates the thing out.

Got it !! got my needle nose pliers and stuck one of the prongs in the valve it's self then turned it. FFS now I need new coolant new oil new PS fluid and ofcourse a new tester
should have tried this before removing the head....in my defense I was tired and hungover lol
edit:thanks DELuth saved me quite a bit of embarismeant and 30$ lol
