Rsx type s if your on a budget and plan to drive it on the street. If you got money custom dogbox if just for the track.

 

i like my type s transmission a lot. i was happy with it in stock form. my buddy has a dc5 transmission and crosses the traps in 5th gear.

just be warned with hi power built k24's there's a chance of wreaking havoc on the K20 2nd-4th gears having their teeth sheared off from the large dose of torque built K24's put down....them gears can't handle the torque depending on the tranny load situation (ie. dyno/drag racing mostly). Kind of a known issue with k20 trans with K20/24 franks. I have a buddy who had a hi powered built K24 and sheared his 4th gear teeth right off while dyno tuning.lol

 

^^^ Very true on higher hp K24 builds, Last weekend we sheared 2nd gear on a k24/k20 making over 300whp.
