200 or 210?

I say 210 on JDM ITR and

Slopoke says 200.

Which is it?

Well which year JDM ITR???? ours is 197 hp, but its hard to tell with ITR's cause they gain more as they break in....The JDM 98+ i thought was 210 also, it makes no sense that it has the 4-1 header and bigger exhaust, higher comp and its the same or close to it? thats makes no sense....but then again they run the same stock intake so it maybe doesn't make as much as it should.....
PS. Actually i saw a dyno of a jdm stock one and us stock one, the jdm was 169 whp, the us was 162 whp both bone stock brand new....but then again lots fo factors could change numbers so that might not be right, but it sure sounds right for the differences

 

Ok now Honda's lose about 17 percent loss through the drivetrain and at

210 with the 17 percent factored in it is like 174.3
205 with 17 percent loss iit is 170.15
200 with the 17 percent it is 166

So that tells me that The JDM makesbetween 205-210

 

98+ JDM = 200PS = approx 197BHP

Spec is for 98on (check out the gear ratios and 16inch wheels)

 

Problem with that is those are in PS not HP.

 

Also, manufacturers use an engine dynometer, so they measure the HP of the engine, that doesn't include the 4-1 header and exhaust.

hell, screw all the guess work. why don't you buy one and dyno it. then we all know for sure.
