i have a 99 civic dx d16y7.today on my way to eibach 2013 we got stuck in traffic,and i noticed my temp slowly rising.(i checked all my fluids before we left and there were good).so i pulled over to let it cool down.i checked my fluid and hoses but everything was fine so i drove it again.it was then that i noticed my fan was not working because on the freeway or cruising the temp stayed down but when i was stuck in traffic it would slowly rise because there is no wind cooling the radiator anymore.so i then ran the fan to direct power and the fan powered on.i also checked the fuse in the fuse box and it was fine.i also tried to jump the sensor off the t-stat housing with a paper clip and the fan did not turn on.anything else i can try?

 

Check the underhood relay.

 

just swapped the cooling fan relay and no luck.still cant get it to power on with a paper clip.what a pita

 

i also just put a new radiator fan switch on and still slowly overheating and the fan is not kicking on.i can get the fan to run by putting direct power to the radiator fan switch plug.anyone have some suggestions?

also my ac or heater stopped working a couple months ago.i turn the **** but nothing happens
