so has anyone welded the stock tranny bracket mount back on

going h2b but previous has cut the tranny bracket mount off

 

My brother did it before in his ek.

 

its just a couple tac welds should be no problem

 

WRONG.....

in ek's there are no mounts that need to be cut out!!

maybe the radiator holding tabs but not any engine mounts!

 

Those mounts are "spot" welded. Im not really sure what your question is here? I assume you want to know the best way to re install the mount? Do you already have a mount to weld in? Post some pictures of the mount and the frame rail so that I can give you advice. Depending on how it was removed will determine the best option for re install.

 

Mount it farther back and higher up - do all three the same way - to account for lowering the car, and to move the weight as far rearward as possible.
