Icon6 D15B SWAP

I'm doing a D15B swap on my EH2 because the motor it had before ((D15B7)) had a spun bearing. I'm using the tranny, head, and manifold on the d15b block. Only thing is now the head bolts dont wanna go in when we torque it down. The head is perfectly aligned but it doesn't want to go in? NEED HELP ASAP!

Still trying to picture what you mean when you say that they don't go down.

Like when you try to torque down the head, like they get stuck halfway. The torque spec said 22 to 53 we tried but they dont want to go all the way down.

Is there some difference between the B7 bolts and the D15b? Why are you not using the bolts for teh "J spec" block?

I think there is because they stop half way. My friend had them but we'd have to look for it.

Are. At-risk kids with behavior issues. If I'm not at work I'm at class for my Master's.

Don't mean to get off topic but had to comment to grumblemarc, when I was in school I'm sure i would've been in your class, without the help from my teachers i would probably be in jail or living under a bridge i cant imagine putting up with what you have to deal with on a day to day so I say that to say I never got to thank any of my teachers that got me through but my life is better because of them. Being married to a teacher I now realize what kind of hell I put them through. Hope that doesn't sound too sappy but thought it may make going to work for you a little easier.
