Default Clutch

My car went into the shop for the JDM front the day I got the Clutchmaster Stage 3 installed. After sitting for 3-4 months, I was never able to really break it in. I am doing that now. A few issues:

#1 - when i lift the clutch after shifting, I get a click noise. almost like the sound you hear when the Tin Man gets oiled in the Wizard of Oz (if that helps ).

#2 - how long is it recommended that I break in the clutch, and what does the breakin period consist of?

Thanks,
jon

Clicking noise is probably the release bearing needing lubrication

The brake in period is basically keeping it below 4000 RPM for about 500 miles with no hard acceleration.

Could it do damage to the clutch if I drive the car for a while without having it lubricated. I wont be able to get to the shop for a little while.

It shouldn't damage the clutch. The lubrication needed is between the bearing bore and the transmission drive shaft so the bearing travels smoothly back and foward when you push and release the clutch pedal.

Sometimes the "click" you feel just goes away on its own...
