Default Help with steering wheel

Hi HT. I recently bought my 95 civic and it has a salvage title because of theft. Here's my issue; it came with a stupid knockoff mugen wheel and some generic hub. So I bought my NRG short hub, quick release and wheel (don't bag on me, I know works bell is better) anyway I am not mechanically inclined, however i found changing the hub and wheel to be really easy. Well one thing I didn't realize; i have to register my car and in order for that to happen, apparently all factory airbags must be intact. My understanding is that I can buy a factory steering wheel, install it and use a resistor to disable the SRS light. How hard will this be? Am I f****d?

Thanks guys. Btw here are some pics for fun (yes I know my offset is too low.)

My doggie!

Google the procedure. It's not that hard. But there's a possibility that once the airbag OEM wheel is back on the the SRS light goes out. You'll also need the clock spring.

I searched google, I didn't find much; only the opposite (going from stock wheel to aftermarket). I know I just do the reverse but like I said, not mechanically inclined. Would be much easier if I had a coherent step by step. Any chance you have a link you could provide me?

They are the FA1 SI seats. Junkyard find; side airbags had gone off so I had to reupholster the backing so it's not as clean as if they were from the factory, but I like it

Edit: actually I think they are USDM, not FA5s

It's just the reverse of how you put on an aftermarket wheel. Seriously. It's not that hard.

Or just Google how to bypass the SRS.

take it off turn the wheels straight align the boss(hub) with the steering wheel spline then set hub put wheel back on correctly. there should be a mark on that boss kit that marks "up" simple from there on

you can take the SRS bulb out on the cluster that's what I did
