89 Civic D15b2 upgrades
I understand the limitations of the D15B2 and I don't expect any massive amount of horsepower. Somewhere down the line, I am probably going to put a newer engine into it but that isn't going to happen anytime soon.
I have done my research and I know I should put an MPFI system in. I have found a retired Honda mechanic selling complete kits for this locally so I am set for that.
But what I was wondering was whether an AEM upgraded fuel rail (http://www.iapdirect.com/aem-high-vo...il-25-108.html) and an OMNI 68mm throttle body (http://hondaswap.com/engine-building...er-then-517134) with larger injectors would provide further increase in horsepower. I understand air-to-fuel ratios and understand that upgrading just one of the components wouldn't help but in my thinking, if I upgraded all three of those items, it would create more power right?

Si transmission, d16a6 cam (do the research on that, you'll need a different cam gear), Turbo, weight reduction...
If you do a MPFI swap, that will give you a little bit of power, but what it really does is set you up for future upgrades like a b-series engine swap or turbo or whatever. Although an A6 cam, Si trans and some tuning can be fun and rev-happy setup, don't expect to get much power out of a d15 without some forced induction.

Fuel rail will do nothing for you.
It looks nice, but your simple upgrade will not require and special fuel delivery.
Simply installing larger fuel injectors will effectively make your car run rich.
The ECU was programmed for a specific size so it knows how long to keep an injector open to supply the correct amount of fuel.
You can add injectors, but you will need a tune.
A tune would be a really thing to do, but $$$ to get it done right.
My suggestion is the MPFI conversion as you are headed to anyway.
Follow that with the basic IHE.
After that, just leave it alone.
Save your money and get a platform you really want to stick with.

To be fair, I got this for 450 bucks just because I couldn't afford to drive my Chevy Blazer into work everyday and I am pleased with it as it is but I would like a little more power so I think I am just going to start with an MPFI swap and go from there.
