Default turbo d16z6, blew the headgasket...again

so the first time i blew the head gasket i am going to blame it on the cheap eBay/unknown branded head gasket. i bought new arps and an oem gasket from Honda and that lasted from early august or so of last year until 3 days ago. from searching around on Google it seems head lift is a common ailment of these engines. both times the head gasket blew it was pushing coolant, never mixed oil and coolant. does anyone know of a way to cure this? some are saying getting the block/head ringed.

my setup:
75.5 srp pistons
eagle rods
arp rod bolts
acl race bearings
arp head studs
stock head minus a mild PnP and 3 angle

im running 20psi on a t3t4 57 trim, ramhorn manifold, tial BOV and 38mm wastegate. i plan on taking the engine out anyway because the car is getting painted, so in the mean time i figured i would build the head (cam, springs, retainers and a bettter PnP) while its out because if i can hit the same numbers while turning down the boost this should be less stressful on my engine, am i right?

CLIFFS:
2nd headgasket blown on mildly built d16z6
i know headlift is a common problem
how can i fix this? - ringing the head/block
will building my head to hit the same numbers at a lower psi be less stressful on an engine'

thanks in advance

headlift is a known problem but not sure if two head gasksets on the same engine is to blame. Look into the tune...

Did you have the block resurfaced also? I've had a block with .004 deviation and it caused the coolant to push out of the reservoir when in boost. Normal driving it ran fine, never once overheating

That video has nothing to do with this thread

Fuel pressure is only one aspect to address when turbocharging a Honda.

Yeah did you have the head check to make sure it is still flat? After blowing a head gasket I always have the head checked and repaired if needed. I would the car retuned elsewhere as well.

check the head and block surface with a straightedge. it sounds like one or both are warped.
