Bubbling sound coming from gt35r cooling lines
I was just cruising around in my civic the other day and when I got home I could here a bubbling/boiling sound faintly coming from the turbo's cooler lines.
I'm not sure what's causing this. Air in the system or possibly a flow issue?
Currently one line is connected to the water pipe on the back of the block and the other line runs off the fitting on the top of the head's outlet.
Thanks, Doug

It may become an issue if it's boiling..may create air in the system. I have my return from my 28rs going to the bottom of my radiator that way when vehicle running it's constantly causing flow from the turbo to reduce the possibility of that happening (o air locks for that matter). Also allows a low point to assist in self bleeding..If there is boiling, it may also reduce the efficiency at which the turbo can dissipate heat as air is one of the best insulators around.

How do I know if its boiling or if its self siphonin? I Just changed the coolant this winter and put in a 70% water 30% Peak full strength and a bottle of water wetter.

The top line on mine started boiling one day when it got a kink in it. Fixed it and just had the normal siphoning sound.
