Default TPS issue*

im having an issue with my tps voltage. I have an omni power 68mm throttle body with aftermarket tps. Im using a p28 chipped ecu with my obd2 engine harness that came factory from my coupe.

I back probed the sensor and got my .5v at closed throttle and only 3.4v at wide open throttle, at the max adjustment. I also have CEL that flashes 7 times which is the tps sensor. Im not sure where to go from here and i need some assistance.

i changed it once already and it still codes. i deleted my o2 and knock sensor on this ecu. I have an obd2 ecu i can try. and i also bought another one off inline four just in case. i may try a oem throttle too if i can find one.

Haven't heard of this issue with Omni Tb's before or any for that matter. when you say disable what are we talking s300 RTP or chrome ?

xenocron chipped the ecu. I think it may be the throttle body. i need one to swap out or an oem sensor

.5 closed and 3.5 open should be fine...in Crome you cant really setup the 0 and 100% points quite as nicely as you can with Hondata, Neptune or eCtune...it may just be this.

Does the code come on right away or after you start and run the vehicle?

Generally you dont get a TPS CEL unless the sensor faults high or low (0 volts or 5 volts)

if you can see the correct voltages at the ECU for the TPS, then you might be seeing the wrong code blink out...
