Decided to tackle this job myself...not bad getting everything removed and ready to change the belts. Question on the alignment of the balance shaft, camshafts and crank. When all marks are aligned, the balance shaft locking pin doesn't go in. I can rotate the crank and get the balance pin and crank in alignment, but then the camshafts do not line up. I understand the procedure to get the crank and balance shaft aligned. It strikes me as odd that they don't seem to be in alignment. Is it possible it doesn't matter? Any ideas welcome and appreciated,.
