i have searched, but can't really seem to find the right answer on the B20B/Z block

i am about to do a JDM B20B (high comp) swap into my stock eg si and wondering which header would fit.

i want to go cheapest way possible to get the swap done and upgrade the whole exhaust sometime later down the road

I would like to know if B16A or B16B header would fit on stock B20B motor and without any clearance issue to either oil pan/ cross member.
need a def answer since i can access to get an unknown year JDM header
anyone knows the answer please shoot.

or whats the actual measurement or height i need to check on the header before i buy it
i have no way telling if the header was from b16 or b18

Are you trying to stay with OEM ?

Any Bseries header will work. If it doesnt, the exhaust shop will make it work. Even aftermarket/knockoffs.

 

yes sir, i am trying to stay OEM for now before i start modding it
my stock form eg si still rolls with stock suspension so bolt-ons will come after my brakes/suspension setup

so B16A/B & JDM 4-2-1 will def fit right??

 

can anyone confirm the B16A header fits on stock JDM B20b?
MY NEW HEADER WONT' BE IN TILL MID OF jULY SO I NEED SOMETHING TO GET THE CAR GOING DOURING MEAN TIME

i know the header from 99-00 si's will fit and bolt up fine, to head and your cat

i dont remember off the top of my head which b16 engine is in it

 

the deck height differences will make it a tight fit under the oil pan

 

all b-series bolt to the head.depends on the flange angle on the cat end,or if u have an 02 bung on the header down pipe or on the cat side or both.

 

B16A won't work i know that
so B16A2 (slowDB7) might work
