Default Weird acceleration after swap

Ok guys I did a swap on my EG2 from HMO. Car runs fine except it's throwing code 14 and 21. The car idles fine and steady at around 700 rpms but when accelerating my idle goes up and down until it hits 1500 rpm then it takes off. The idle going up and down is similar to a car reclining but not as loud of course. Could the iac valve or the vtec solenoid valve cause that? Or maybe a vacuum leak?

JDM B16 if that matters.

Start by ensuring you've bled the coolant system properly and cleaning the IACV. The links are in the FAQ. Also what color are the wires going to your IACV? Also how do you have the VTEC hooked up? List your year, make and model as well.

94 del sol vtec, the coolant is bled correctly. As far as the vtec I'm not sure. I'll check the color of the wires when I get home and get back to you.

VTEC should have been plug and play. Maybe with the IACV you mixed up the connector?

Ok i went and checked my IAC and noticed that there wasn't anything plugged into it except the hoses. I found this wire dangling underneath my intake manifold. Plugged it in and started my car. When it's plugged in my car idles up and down over and over again. Any suggestions?

Yeah you may be right. I also found this dangling underneath the IM.

Anyone know which cable is supposed to be connected to the iac? Or know what the cable is in the picture above?

You have them backwards. And that hose should be plugged into or t'd to a vacuum line.

Ok swap the plugs. What should I do with the hose?

Ok swapped the hoses and it's idled weird for a while but eventually calmed down and idles around 900 rpms. When I give it throttle it takes it a while to rev back down to its normal rpms. The diagram shows that the hose is supposed to go in the back of the intake manifold but I can't find a place for it.

Just to be sure the plug going to the iac is supposed to be a blue/yellow wire and a black/yellow wire?
