looking for a nice deep sound
i have a stock engine
i want to get an exhaust system and intake system and recommendations?

 

I ALMOST thought we were going to get threw the week without this question I was wrong . but OP search clips on youtube off the bat apexi WS2 or yonaka ws2.

For any stock honda/acura, the Yonaka is the best catback you can get for the price imo.

 

stock engine should stay stock exhaust, it will not add any real HP

 

While that is true....there are some people who will get a catback based on sound alone, realizing it isn't for any power.

 

I know, I just like throwing that out there so OP knows that they will not be getting +15 HP

 

I have a magnaflow catback for my 2000 si. sounds pretty nice. isn't loud and has a nice deep tone.

 

A stock D with a louder than stock exhaust is nothing but an attention getter...


Why would you want attention in a stock Civic...

 

just keep the intake stock for now and get a k&n filter.

 

I have the same car with a Megan racing d-spec exhaust and I love it. Not too loud, and has a deep tone. Ill post a video if I get around to it..

As far as intake, the stock air box is the best. Throw in a K&N air filter and you're solid until you go beyond stock.
