Default D16Y8 best options for plugs, wires, etc.

I am looking for some opinions on which brands of spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor caps, and distributor wires are best for improving fuel efficiency and performance. I still have the stock stuff on my D16Y8 as far as I can tell, and I have heard that new ignition can improve efficiency and performance, so I would love some input, thanks!

All OEM is best.

Use only the NGK spark plugs listed in the owner's manual.

Unless it "needs" to be replaced no need to do it all save your money. but yes if they are going it out replacing them will improve efficiency OEM/NGK all day.

OEM cap cap/rotor and plug wires if you don't mind spending the $80+ for them. If you do, NGK wires are just fine.
And always NGK plugs.

FFS, didn't I make a thread that deals with this exact question: which parts to use when performing a tune up? OK, granted it didn't specifically mention "improvement in FE and performance". But, high quality parts from trusted brands are the best way to go for this, if one must connect the dotted line between the two. Check my sig for the thread .... but it's best if you also start with the FAQs - lots and lots of good info there.

You get what you pay for, go with OEM.
