I have a 92 agp db2 with a b17 and a ys1 tranny, wouldn't go into gear and figured needed to replace clutch. Took it apart and tranny is fucked, anyways i got a cable ls tranny to put in it. My buddy has a b16 tranny as well thats cable, i dont care about how fast my car is, Will the ls work? Or should i go back and get the b16 instead? Couldn't find another ys1 that wasn't jank, thinking about rebuilding ys1 eventually if it isn't outrageously priced.

 

It should. Bseries trannys are pretty much interchangeable if its a cable car and cable tranny, shouldn't be a problem.
