Ok I looked and couldn't find what i was looking for.

I have a b16 hydro tranny and have a bad 3rd and 4th gear.

I have a b16 cable tranny that is good.

Can i remove the 3rd 4th and syncro from the cable tranny and install them on to the mainshaft of the hydro tranny.

 

depends on the cable tranny....the early b16 trannys are a little different.

 

How can i tell if it will or not?

 

is the cable b16a tranny a ys1???
is your hydro tranny a ys1 aswell??

 

Cable Tranny is a S1
Hydro is a Y21

i found a site with gearing and it says that the gearing is the same for the two trannies
