I'm posting this for a friend, please view the part that is circled. What is that part called? He bought an EG civic SI with the stock D16Z6 motor.

If anyone has that part, please let me know. I don't think the 1.5L version of the same part fits because the 1.6L stock intake is bigger.

It's just a breather line for the VC. you can use any piece of hose really and just run it from the intake to the VC plug. if it's missing get one dirt can get in the intake and VC is you leabe them open and drive around like that long enough

 

You see on the intake, the side of the metal tube that fits into the stock intake is a "special fitting" a tube is not going to cut it

 

I'm more interested in what the hell the metal tube that splits is called. I can get the hoses from anywhere.

 

Just to point out it needs to look stock because smog techs around here are a bitch. He needs to pass smog.

 

ya leave the metal line part on and just get a new rubber hose it's just squish clamped on. I wasn't saying say ditch the metal part. and the hose in your hand should connect somewhere to the intake box but I see you have an aftermarket intake so im not sure.

 

What is that metal piece called? That's the piece I need.
