b7/z6 mini me turbo build
so a friend swapped a gsr into his 94 dx hatch, and i ended up with the stock d15b7 for free, i picked up a completley z6 head for 40 bucks, as of now everything is ready to be sent out to the machine shop, i just have a uestion about the rods. Im building this motor for boost so im going to be using vitaras, skunk2 valve train etc, but anyway, im wondering what are my options for rods, ive researched and have not found to many options for d15 crower makes rods but they are expensive and the only other opption are fjt custom lenght rods but he is no longer in business. do i have any other option than to sheel out the 800 for crower rods, im shooting for 250 hp at the most

^^lol unless your deadset on staying D series, the B's handle boost better plus you can get a faster transmission.
I personally am staying D series, just for the fact that Ive never given it a chance since my other cars have been integra's and a B swapped civic by the previous owner.

im sticking with D, parts are cheaper (except rods), plus ya gotta love a one cammer jammer. i did find another option cx racing makes h beam rods for the b7/b2. although some consider them an ebay brand they do research and test there products plus they have a racing team. ive seen other parts that they make on cars in ht and super street so they cant be that bad, plus they are only 230 bucks, this seems a lot more feasible then shelling out $800+ for rods just so i can run $130 pistons. has anyone used these rods
