Coil-(Stuck)Over
So I'm trying to raise the front end by the Coil-Overs. Use the spanner wrench and the whole Coil-Over will spin in place under the spring. So I try to tighten the top nut, again spins the whole thing. Threads are cleaned and lubed up. Use a wrench to hold one in place and use the spanner wrench to twist the other nut, and the spanner wrench bends on me. I'm thinking these must be some cheapies. What to do?
odd deal i have here i have a 92 civic so im trying to sell the car a man comes to look at it and pulls a sparkplug wire while it was running now it wont start i tried the computer i tried the igniter and now main control i still have no spark the tricky part is when i put my light tester on the spring of my coil and crank the car the lights flash on the tester but it does not arc to anything i have to hold it to the spring in the coil any help please
Go get 2:

and use one on the lock nut while holding the spring perch with the other.
They're useful for all kinds of things, and everyone who does any work on cars or around the house should never be without a few (oil filter, coolant hoses, water pipes, shower heads, anything that doesn't take a standard open ended wrench).
