Default eBay vs name brand headers

Is there really that much of a difference in performance and sound or are the same thing? I know one is cheap and the other ones are pricey but they all look alike to me but Wat do I know that's why Im askin

I have a eBay header on my d16 but I can get my hands on a dc for cheap would it be worth it to spend the money on it?

No performance from either really, just quality.

Until you have a serious build and are ready to drop $1000+ on a header, it doesn't matter what you get.

The name brand headers will have better quality and fitment.

Headers vary too much.
There are those who buy a hytech and swear by them and their price tag.
I like to do research and dyno test everything.
I bought a hytech knock off from Kidd racing and it actually gave me more hp by 3 than my friends hytech.
375.00 at the time was much better than the 1200.00 price tag from the name brand.
Dyno results vary though.

A pipe is a pipe. As long as they flow better than OEM headers, you're fine.

The only thing you may run into with knock offs is metal quality and fitment issues.

Thanks also has anybody had problems with the a/c lines burning up from rubbing on the headers or could that be from it being a cheap eBay POS?

just move the lines away from it but they should not be anywhere near the header... the headers will not be much bigger then the stock header size wise unless its some wild style header like bisimoto etc...
