Default 15x8 best offset

If you could make 15x8 wheels to fit your DC2 (with 225/45R15 tires), what exact offset in mm would you pick in order to have the best fender and strut clearance? I know the 6UL is 36mm, but some reported rubbing issues with 225 tires. Would higher offset (between 36mm and 45mm) result in better fitment?

the 45mm version would hit your rear trailing arm

My preference has always been to go with the highest offset possible on the wheel, then use wheel spacers to bring it down. That way you aren't stuck with a 0 offset wheel. However, I wouldn't recommend it unless you are using arp extended wheel studs.

Since i can have the wheel custom made, i would prefer not to have to use spacers. But i understand your point. I know the stock wheel for the DC2 gsr is 45mm and that i can fit a 15x7 41mm wheel without any issue. I just don't have acces to the car to look what would a 15x8 41mm wheel do.

Just google "15x8 integra" and do some reading if you haven't already. You'll have to roll fenders and maybe space the rear out a touch if you want to run 225's. I'd go with a +35 offset.

So if i go with, let's say, 38 mm, it's going to hit the strut?
