P/S pump I.D
hi, i bought my 97 ex with a b16 with p/s. Now it have a ls vtec turbo with the same head and p/s pump, recently it start to spit the belt at high rpm's.
Checking the pump i realize the damper is shaking badly.
I try one of a d16y8 (not fit)
find one from ls 97 (different line)
What's the difference between integras pumps and how can i I.D. my old one.
thanks
carlos

If you post a pic of the pump I can ID it for you. Generally speaking though you need a '98 - '01 Integra or '99 - '00 Civic Si pump for a B-series in a '96 - '00 Civic. This works 99.9% of the time.
The only real exceptions are B20s can use the B20/CR-V PS pump and if a '92- '95 Civic/\94 - '97 Integra feed line was used the pump must come from either of those two vehicles.

They aren't. The end of the feed line where it bolts to the pump (along with the pump itself) is different between '92 - '95 Civics/'94 - '97 Integras and '96 - '00 Civics/'98 - '01 Integras/'97 - '01 CR-Vs. The '96 - '00 Civics (except '99 - '00 Si) and CR-V use a complete different style pump and bracket as well.
