95 Civic won't crank after removing alarm system
Ok...I left my lefts on again and burned out my battery. No big deal right? Boosted my car the wrong way and melted my cables...and main fuse looked burnt! Changed out the main fuse and still does not work. My car has an alarm system that always is set off when I have battery issues (ie...burning out my battery). This time I could not not get the alarm to stop. Every time I charge up the battery, it keeps killing the battery. So I have removed the alarm system. Battery charges now...but still wont start. it doesnt want to turn over at all. My husband normally takes care of these things for me but he is out of town and I would like to fix this myself if possible. I am sure that I have really messed it up this time but what could my possible problems be? Please help!
My car is a 95 honda civic that does not beep when I leave my lights on!

when you removed the alarm system did you just unplug the box or did you put all the wires back where they are normally supposed to go cuz if not chances are your ignition is still not hooked up
Good question! There was 2 pieces that I removed....one is labelled a sensor. I removed this one first and the wire that it was connected to. Unfortunately, I did not mean to remove the wire and I didnt see where it pulled out of. The alarm was still going off though and when I looked further I found the bigger piece labelled code alarm elite 100. This was attached by a number of wires. I disconnected them all from the piece but did not connect them to anything else. Should they be reattached to something else?
Thank you for responding.

My eg doesn't beep when i leave the lights on either. The alarm that comes with that car (i had one to and removed it) has a starter immobilizer. You have to remove the wiring from the starter relay.

well...I am no further ahead. I guess it doesn't help that I have no clue what I am doing!
I tried to follow the wires that were connected to the box so that I could remove them from the starter relay but they just seem to connect to too many wires. I do see a little box labeled relay but I do not think the wires connected to that were connected to the alarm.
So, I tried to reinstall it but I Cannot find the place where the wire that was connected to the sensor goes.
Any body have some kind of diagram or something?

why not take a pic and point out where you are looking. it sounds like trying to explain this back and forth isn't working. You mentioned you have no idea of what it is you are doing. a picture may just help.
On a side note, no USDM eg has a factory chime for lights left on. High recommend the Lights-on chime mod from Deschlong. Either do that or get the crappy radio **** buzzer fix (not really recommended)
hook the fat wire back together man. when you remove an alarm the ignition hot wire is split in 2 and one end goes in the alarm and the other comes out. All the stereo and best buy type places hack the wire in half and run it like i said. All you need to do is strip them both back and crimp together with a yellow butt connector OR you can solder back together, I know some people freak out when they hear the term butt connector and will say it is not as good as a solder but a connection is a connection regardless.
I think the wire is white with a blue stripe or yellow with black stripe and is about 7mm thick

trace the black with white stripe wire that's right under the steering colum along with other thick wires that's the one that gets snipped in half to the relay for the starter kill and cut out the relay and join that wire together
well thanks for all the responses! Unfortunately the car is dead at my moms house so I have to go back and forth alot! I have looked for all the different wires that have been suggested and I am not having any luck. None of the above mentioned wires are cut and the only wires that I can find that are cut underneath dont seem to have a "matching" wire to attach to. As I am a new member I am not able to post pics yet. I am beyond frustrated so I am gonna leave it and have someone take a look at it for me next week.
