Default Makes a lot of noise when im driving

ok so i bought some f&F coilover type 1s for my 1996 civic ej8. i installed them, lowered my car about 2 or 2 1/2 inch. ever since i lowered it, it makes alot of noise when im driving. i know its not the coilovers because it sounds like two peices of metal scraping eachother. i looked over the front end countless of times and still cant figure it out. my last guess is its the brakes but idk.has anyone else had this issue. ima noob to cars, so any help would be great

Are you sure your tires aren't scraping the wheel well liners?

sounds like bad upper or lower control arm bushings are bad.......btw when u lowered it if u lower it far enough down the springs will just sit in there and rattle around when u go over bumps cuz there is no preload on them u gotta keep alittle preload on the springs otherwise they just free float in there and make noise had this same issue till i run the springs up till they was just alittle snug with the wheel all the way down

check your ball joints and tie rods first.

from what I can gather from your explanation it is coming from your front end. jack up each side of the car and try and wiggle the wheel left to right and up and down. (check youtube for a video). change any of the joints that have torn boots or that are loose.
also if you hear a very loud bang in the front end going over a bump it is you upper control arm hitting the shock tower and messing up the upper ball joint.

if it is none of those then bring it to a shop if you are not familiar with working on cars. otherwise come back here cause I would love to help you figure it out.

thanks for all the tips and advice, ill look into all those. But to explain further more, when ever i make a left turn/drive over the slightest bump or wave on the road, itll make a metal scraping noise. and its not the tires hitting the fenders.
