97 prelude misfire problems!
Hey guys im having a little trouble with my prelude and would really appreciate some help! So im just normally driving my car (97 prelude base auto
) one day and i come to a stop. Then my motor starts to bog down to like 200 rpm and shake like its about to stall out even if im in neutral or drive. On my way home my check engine light starts flashing then stays on. I get the light checked out and I get a p0304 and a p0302 code which are misfires in cylinder 4 and 2. I also get a p1300 which im pretty sure is an ignition coil and a p1399 which I think is a multiple misfire code. I checked the plugs and everything is fine, spark plugs have 17k miles on them so they shouldnt be that bad. Then I got a new ignition coil and distributor rotor. The screw holding the distributor rotor on is stuck on there pretty bad so i skip that and just put the ignition coil on... Start her up and drive her down the road and and it does the same damn thing. Does anyone else have this problem or know what it could be? Thanks in advance

If your cap and rotor look really beat up you should just replace those since they are cheap.
You can manually turn the crank counterclockwise by the power steering pulley if the belt is tight enough with the car in neutral to get the distributor rotor to line up so you can get it off. This assumes you have a distributor rotor screw holding yours on to the distributor shaft.

This happened to me when I bought my car. (Check my 99 Prelude Build) even if the plugs only have 17k on em, i'd still replace them. I replaced my plugs with NGK Iridiums, bought a new cap and rotor, and anti-seizing grease. If I were you I'd do the same.
