Just wanting to know if swaping my d18 for a gsr is worth the time and money. I hear the dohc engines are faster but heavier. Would it accelerate quicker? I just want a fast 0-to 60. Could i tune this d18 to accelerate faster than the gsr?

 

There is no D18

 

1. There is no such thing as a D18. You probably mean D16.
2. Take it to someone, don't do the swap yourself. Trust me.
3. They are slightly heavier but not by very much. The engine makes up for it.
4. Um...are you asking if a more powerful engine would accelerate quicker? ...No it wouldn't.
5. No, for all practical intents and purposes, you can cannot tune the D16 to be faster than the GSR unless you go turbo.

90% of that post made little to no sense. in short yes the B18C1(gsr) will be a lot faster then you'r d16 which you havent said if it's vtec or non. tune it you'r self not with out a s300 i don't reccomend you try that you'r self at this point.
