Still running rich after tune?
So I thought that the reason my car was running so rich was that it needed to be tuned. Reason I had spotted it was running rich was there was black build up on my back bumper. I want to get the car painted but don't want the black stuff to ruin the paint so i'm trying to figure out what the problem is. Here are the results for the dyno.

I speant hours on hours trying to figure out why my car ran rich it was just missing the map sensor o-ring....thus reading a higher vac all the time so it(ecu) thought i was always at/near WOT even when just cruzing around. if you have access to a s300 i recomend hooking it up. can tell you a WORLD of what's going on or even go buy one. did you ask you'r tuner

Will the rich residue on the spark continue the issue haha? I rubbed off a section with my shoe to see if that mark would darken as well, and it still did haha. Quite embarassing to have all the black crap on your bumper on a while car haha. Looks like it was near fire haha. Trying to get this all fixed before the beginning of May so I can finally get the car painted in time to be picked up for my birthday haha. If you could help figure this out that would be much appreciated.

Also I've seen where it builds up in the exhaust and after the problems fixed it continues to blow **** out for a while. Clean the plugs drive for a while then check them again.
Mine did for a week of short trips. If you clean up the plugs drive then check them and they look good, is clean the back of your car off a few times and see if the amount starts to taper off. If the plugs are still black, keep looking for the problem. I remember one time I had the seals in my turbo go bad and it **** oil into my exhaust. I swapped back to the normal manifold but the oil in the cat caused my car to smoke for 2 days. I started to get worried that it had done damage.
i'm assuming the red line on the afr graph is after the tune? that's stupid rich. turbo cars dont even run that rich.
either whoever tuned your car doesnt know wtf they're doing, or you have something wrong with the engine. seeing as how you got tuned at church's, i'm going to assume the latter.
