Default d16z6 single cam project

New to this whole Honda-Tech forum. Let's give this a shot.
Just picked a '92 Civic EX 4dr for $300. Not bad huh?! Haha
Anyways, here's the get down on the whip.

D16z6 (needs to be rebuilt)
Stock Z6 tranny.
Tein Suspension
AEM V2 Intake
DC Sport Header w/o cat & stock muffler

Pretty much looking to get a little bit more power for a daily driver.
Plan on doing a mild build and possibly a small turbo set up LATER just for sh**s & giggles.
Need input on internals (pistons, rods, etc.) and top end (cam, valve springs, pushrods, etc.)
Budget right now is at about $1,500-2,000.

Don't drop 2 stacks on a D16. Got me one of those and I don't plan on spending more than a couple hundred bucks prettying it up. Click on my username.

Like I said, I'm keeping the D-Series simply cause I wanna play with a little single slammer. Don't like it, don't f**k with it. Don't need a B or a K.

You have two options to make power, swap or boost. That is all, choose wisely.

YOUR PROFILE PICTURE IS SAD. ANYWAY YEAH YOU SHOULD EITHER TURBO THE D OR SWAP IT FOR A B OR ANY OTHER SERIES. THOSE ARE YOUR 2 OPTIONS. I THINK WE'RE ALL DONE HERE?
