Hey HT, i have a issue/ story i really need help diagnosing the problem. Ill try to be extremely exact.




Okay , so , i was driving one day, and i heard a grinding sound while driving or take off, i stopped and took off and it did it violently, i got to the house and tried to park, now it was just grinding and jerking, i knew something was wrong and the car was not driveable, so i dropped the tranny, i then read a tutorial to open it. ( I had bought 2 other trannys before this one and i really didnt wanna buy a 4th) i followed through and checked to find out the gear in the diff was chewed and spit out. i took the diff out and ordered another one, i inspected all the gears everything looked ok. I installed the diff with ring gear and put everything back together. i threw the tranny in with old clutch and fired her up, the car started and i put it into gear, the car moved a bit and made a whining noise when accelerating, also alot mechanical sound coming from the tranny (gears turning) i put it into all gears and it just rattled and made noise. it did pull a bit for u to feel it but the car was not moving ! **** my life... i spent 8 hours putting that tranny in (after resolving all issues) and now i gotta take it out. i dropped the tranny 5 min ago. when i removed the bolts around the tranny , it popped open from the bottom so it couldn't been forced in there. Im tempted to open it. I just dont know where to check. So if u guys have a bit of knowledge on what it can be help me out please. i Absolutely hate the act of removing and installing transmissions especiialy with hand tools. anyways the insight will help. I will open it up and check the forks. i expect the issue to be there, but not sure.
