Removing snap ring HKS SSQV III
So I managed to get a full set of hard piping and an HKS SSQV 3 BOV for $150.00 shipped to my door. When they drilled the hole to mount the flange (flange like attachment device utilizing a snap ring) they left a ton of burrs. Then I would just like to clean it up all together off the piping piece.
The catch is, the snap ring is missing one of the eyelets that you would put a snap ring pliers onto. Any suggestions? Thing is kicking my ***..

Pull up one side and walk it out. If that won't work, pry the closed side first and then work the "eyed" side. There isn't really any tricks, you just need to get creative with some common hand tools.
You can try getting a larger pair of pliers like this:

specifically the ones with the 90 point. Grind down one point so it fits inside the eyelet. You should be able to grab the whole pipe while pulling the eyelet out. Have a friend put a flat head under the eyelet once its pulled out, and then walk the snap ring the rest of the way.
