Default Engine squeak

Car: 1997 Honda Civic DX Sedan
Engine: D16Y7 true milage unknown due to swap by prev. owner
Milage: 225,xxx

Issue: I have an squeaking noise coming from the driver side of the motor near the altenator. Sounds like it is coming inside the bottom end. It occurs under load. Like, going up a hill; In a high gear giving it gas; lower RPMs with gas

Previous engine conditions:
Summer of 2012 my engine overheater and locked up due to a radiator leak.
-Replaced radiator with no futher issues.

Feb. 2013: It started after one morning my car would not start. It would turn/crank with little resistance. It simply would not start. It had spark, gas, compression. Kept cranking until it seemed like it was going to start. Stalled. Finally, kept cranking until it slightly started, gave it some gas to stay running. Now running, black smoke came from the exhaust for a brief 4 seconds then ran like I just bought it.
Cut it off to insure a good start. It started right up. Later that day to leave, I started it, and it was squeaking like it was a loose belt. But it was not the belt. It slowly died down to a slight squeak coming from motor near the altenator, between the block and firewall.

Also occurs during idle after a drive; Low engine speeds

You think it could be my bearings?
My water pump?
WTF is this noise???

Does it have A/C? Could be the idler pulley.

No A/C.

The idler? Ok, I will check that tomorrow. Pull the belt off and spin it, right?

The noise came after a no start condition. Would it be normal for a person to suspect the noise was from the motor? Or does the idler pulley normally creates sounds as such?

So the other night, my car began you run rough after the start. A flashing, then a solid CEL followed shortly after start.

If you don't have A/C, you won't have an idler pulley. The idler pulley is the tensioner for the AC belt.

Sometimes a vacuum leak will cause a squeaky sound (and a misfire). Get some engine starter spray (ether) and spray around the intake wherever you have a gasket or seal. #2 is near the PCV valve area. Try there. Spray all around all vacuum hoses. Don't start a fire. An extiquisher or garden hose might be a good idea.
If the RPM fluctuates you may have found a vacuum leak.
You could change the plugs, wires and ignition components. Definitely pull the spark plugs and read them to determine the running condition of the engine. A compression test while they are out isn't a bad idea either. Compression testers aren't too expensive.

Well the squeak if coming from inside the bottom end. Never heard of anything like it. Like something isn't being lube enough, or hasn't at one point. I have no clue. It occured after a no-start.

As for the misfire, I DO NEED a tune up. Wires, plugs, valve cover gasket, atf change, P/S belt, etc.
