Icon2 4 lug to 5 lug conversion

Can i take a V6 accords 5 lug hub and put it on my 2001 accord which has 4 lug?

I know the rear's are the same. Honda lists the same part number for the front knuckles. It should work.

what about the driveshafts are they the same

I just did the conversion last week, and assuming you already have rear disk brakes, it's fairly simple.

You will need:

rear v6 hub bearing assy, rear disks (may reuse calipers and pads)
front v6 hub, new bearings, v6 calipers, v6 discs and pads(bigger than 4cyl)
Dorman makes fairly priced hubs it's what i used.

do a search, there's a few DIY about it.

axles will fit without issues btw

i know this thread is old but its worth a try can the same be done with a 99 accord lx 2.3l? Just switch hubs on front and change rear knuckles to a disk n 5 lug???

If it works on a 2001 it will work on a 1999. All the same suspension.
