Hi guys, just bought my first car, 1992 Civic VX (canadian) and I left some interior lights plugged in and so my battery died. I got a jump from a friend, and then drove it for an hour on the highway to charge the battery.

Now when the car is off, some cluster lights are dimly lit and pulsing, and the others flicker and click sporadically. There is also a fizzing/hissing noise from the dash as well. I can start the car fine, and when I turn the key to 2 the lights come on as they should. When driving there are no problems also. I noticed that while the car is off if I put the wipers to the on position all the symptoms stop (but the little blue former car alarm light turns and stays on).

Is the battery not fully charged? Did I short some connections by taking the jumper cables off while the engine was running?

EDIT: It has rained constantly for 4 days and haven't driven the car since tuesday. There was also a lot of water on the floor by the pedals.
